Delete your Whiskerhood account

You can delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Whiskerhood.
2. On the home screen, tap the account button at the top right (☁️ or ✅).
3. Scroll down and tap Delete my account, then confirm.

You can also do this from the World map: tap the privacy button, then Delete my account.

By email

If you cannot open the app, email privacy@whiskerhood.app from the email address on your account (or tell us your player name). We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account, sign-in details, player name, level and backup.
• Cats you put on the map and all your photos.
• Street cats you added that nobody else looks after. If neighbours do look after a street cat you added, the cat stays on the map for them and is passed to the person who cares for it most, without your name or photos.
• Your posts, stories, comments, paws, follows and friendships.
• Your check-ins, care records, care spots, bonds, area names, Cat of the Week entries and votes, and lost cat alerts.
• Your push notification token.

Copies in backups are removed within 30 days. Anonymous statistics that cannot identify you (such as how many street cats were counted in a city) may be kept. Cats and moments saved only on your phone stay on your phone until you delete the app.
